If your vehicle is more that 3 years old & you are unsure of the service history then we can offer 3 levels of servicing starting at a Schedule "A" which is an oil service then “B” which is an interim service & finally “C” which is a full service, all services are to industry standards set out by the Good Garage Scheme, at the end you will be presented with a copy of the service sheet so you can see what has been done.

Before changing your vehicle’s oil it will be flushed using a Forte Motor Flush & the fuel system treated with either a Forte Gas Treatment or Forte Diesel Treatment.

When having your vehicle serviced it is crucial to re-fill the engine with the correct grade of oil not only because of engine wear but modern day engines need correct oil to keep them running smooth., we use one of the worlds leading brands of oil Comma.

Please also note that other systems on your vehicle also need periodic servicing such as:

• Cooling system. Antifreeze/ Coolant does much more in your engine than you think. Manufacturers use a number of different materials in engine construction such as alloys, plastics, cast iron and rubber and all these materials will de-grade or corrode in some form over time. The antifreeze/ Coolant solution is designed to stop this process but only if it is in the correct ratio is applied 9 times out of 10 it is a 50/50 mix. These inhibitors will only last so long before breaking down usually 3 to 5 years so it is vital that antifreeze/ Coolant is changed as recommended. Antifreeze/ Coolant also acts as a lubricant for your water pump, and if to weak it may cause premature wear and leakage, our coolant is also manufacture red by Comma. Included in our Cooling system service is a Flush & Condition Treatment.

• Cam Belt/ Timing Belt & Tensioner. This is a very crucial part of the engine, timing the crankshaft with the camshaft, it is vital that they run in time. If left these belts will break causing serious engine damage. It may not be belt failure that causes it to break it could be a water pump or tensioner bearing or even contamination from oil or antifreeze. We recommend the camshaft drive belt, tensioner and guide rollers all be replaced at the same time (camshaft drive belt kit).

• Serpentine V Belts & Tensioner. Serpentine V belts, more commonly know as your alternator or fan belt, are now very common on most vehicles. These belts can drive your alternator, power steering, water pump and air conditioning. If your belt breaks it will not cause any damage to your engine so long as you stop driving. If you can see radial cracks across the belt then have it changed at your next service or make an appointment to have it replaced.

• Air Conditioning system. We are able to support our customers in the maintenance and repair of this vital area of technology. Many people do not realize that their air conditioning is in need of a service, the difference is often very noticeable this service is not time consuming and can be done whilst you wait, shop or work – usually within the hour. Also included in our A/C system service is a Air Conditioner Treatment which eliminates colonies of airborne bacteria caused by the build-up of mould and fungi on the evaporator in the deepest recesses of a vehicle's air conditioning system

• Manual, Automatic gearbox oil & filter & Front & Rear Differential oil (if fitted). Just like you engine your gearbox & differentials have oil inside to help lubricate the gears. Automatic transmissions have oil strainers & many service centers overlook advising there customers. It is just as important to renew the gearbox oil & strainer if fitted at the right time as it is your engine oil.
